Tapered Fiberglass Columns

There are two major types of tapered columns, square and round. Both start larger at the bottom and are thinner at the top. This is a visually appealing effect, giving a graceful but solid appearance to columns.

Wood products have a texture and glow to them that are hard to match. Tapered columns made from manufactured materials such as fiberglass, urethane, or composites are typically virtually maintenance free. They will not chip, crack, or rot and will last for many, many years.
